Sad but true

Where have all the bloggers gone
No one left to po-o-ost
Where have all the bloggers gone
No one left to po-o-ost

The city council gets its way
Every tiiiiimmmmeee
The bitching biddies hold its sway
They pay the diiii-ime

Where have all the bloggers gone
No one left to po-o-ost
Where have all the bloggers gone
No one left to po-o-ost

The City spends our mo-o-ney
On every whim and wisp
The oldsters get their way
s'long as bogey makes the list

And who gets screwed all through it?
Pas-a-deeena that's who
And who pays for all the shit
meee and you-ooo-oooo

Where have all the bloggers gone
No one left to po-o-ost
Where have all the bloggers gone
No one left to po-o-ost

what's sad is this was once a great blog now it is reduced to lamers imitating Carl Kozlowski in the comment section and flames about Jacque Robinson by one of her former opponents hiding behind an anon tag.

Sad to say, but I guess AP was the local blogosphere.

As much as many people don't want to admit it - AP gave you something to talk about - hence something to blog about.

This is still a great blog, D, so please keep it coming. The local press would not recognize a story if it was handed to them. That is unfortunate as the press was always conceived in our tradition as a safeguard against government abuse. The local press these days couldn't write "government abuse" without spell check.

LOL I don't want the blog to close, but it hardly provides news coverage. giving me a blow by blow of the council is okay, but no one here ever reports any stories or calls anyone on the council for quotes and then once a week or so we get a lame attempt at satire. as far as the local press not covering local government, yeah okay. even the throwaway core media papers do a better job.

I get more new about the Pasadena Council here than I will ever get from the PS-N.

Couple of problems here.
1. Proctors gone so the heat is
off the ones that deserve it.
Love him or hate him, he kept
it interesting & on point.

2. Now that Robinson is back at
the council meetings Raphael
Henderson has lost is voice
in blasting her & Salazar.

3. Carl K haters seem to have
disappeared as well.

4. We miss the dialogue on
the Masarati cat on the
council.

Come home Proctor, come back home

It is true, no good deed goes unpunished. You do a great job with the time and resources you have to dedicate to this. I am quite certain you have a life separate and apart from this blog. Keep it up. I enjoy both the satire and the blow by blow. I, unlike the critics, know it is only a sypnosis. I appreciate you for your willingness to do what I am not: sit and watch the entire Council mtg. Maybe these critics are willing to do so.....keep it up!

Less Raphael Henderson barbs on his past opponents would be fresh but keep the council and pusd on their toes. Don't let up.

F*ck The proc. I can forgive the self serving media whoring. He lost me when he became a race baiting troll.

The PPU does great work. I read it constantly, I just don't feel the need to comment all the time because JR is actually attending the meetings. Let see how long it lasts.

JR is attending meetings? Isn't that what she was elected to do. I guess we should be grateful that after 3 months she is fulfilling her election obligations. Aren't we lucky.

JR will be at the meetings when they are scheduled... Elected in to an office or not.. A person does have their health to think about also.. I dont think any other critic on here would be at a council meeting if him or her had to be out for a family issue or health issue.. Be real people...

If JR has health issues maybe she should consider taking care of herself her main priority because she certainly isn't making her elected district responsibilities a priority. BTW, here absences from the council meetings weren't only due to illness, it is well known throughout the city that she missed meetings due to her campaigning for President Obama.
That was her main priority, not her district.
